A German style "export" with full golden color and large palate. It is a Dortmund style, bottom-fermenting beer that possesses a bigger body than a pilsener, but is not as dry. Though it leans toward maltiness, it is not as sweet as a Munich-style pale beer. Altenmunster is packaged in an elegant brown bottle with porcelain flip-top. Also available in a special 2 liter bottle.
